Joseph Hesskamp is a nonprofit professional based in Atlanta, Georgia. Uplifting Resiliency & Guiding Success has been Joseph's guiding motto.The motto reflects the belief that individuals and communities have already laid a strong foundation through their own resilience and hard work, but at times, an advocate or ally is needed to walk alongside them and help navigate the path toward their success.Joseph brings a trauma informed lens to LGBTQ, Disability, Mental Health and Unhoused Advocacy.Recognized with honors such as the Pride Awards’ OUTstanding Student of the Year, Joseph has also contributed to organizations like SafeHouse Outreach and served as a Multicultural Awareness Peer Ambassador.Most recently speaking at the Georgia Department of Community Affair's 2025 Housing Symposium.
